Sandy has been with InVision Biomedical for over 10 years. During that period she has developed from a fresh out-of-school BA in chemistry to a vital link in the InVision operations both as a scientist and as the key individual in other InVision functions such as purchasing and QA Coordinator maintaining our Quality System and ISO 17025 accreditation.
From a research chemistry standpoint, Sandy has been instrumental in implementing synthetic processes for novel acrylic monomers and polymers, polymerizable dyes, and adhesives.
With regards to biomedical device E&L and stability testing Sandy is our “go- to” resource for aqueous and organic extraction, chemical derivatization, and hydrolytic aging.
With a strong background in biomedical laboratory operations, Sandy Wong oversees the day-to-day technical activities at Invision Biomedical.
