Marie Dvorak Christ, Ph.D., a co-founder of InVision Biomedical, is a leader in the development of accurate mass ToF LC/MS/MS and GC/MS/MS methods for extractables and leachables analysis applied to biomedical devices, pharmaceuticals, and allied products. Her abilities in structural elucidation and molecular fingerprinting are unmatched.
With 25 years of experience with InVision Biomedical, Dr. Christ has earned a reputation for solving vexing chemical problems in biomedical device, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical product development.
Contributing to Dr. Christ’s materials and chemical analysis prowess is her training in Chemical Engineering at UC Berkeley which has enabled her to contribute to process development challenges, to synthesize unique monomers and dyes, and to create innovative mechanical and chemical test systems.
Prior to co-founding InVision Biomedical, Dr. Christ’s academic research at the UC San Diego Cancer Center and the UC Riverside Chemistry Department focused on the structural characterization and chemical analysis of peptides, glycans, and glyoconjugates utilizing advanced methos of mass spectrometry, NMR, and molecular modeling.
